Routes

Route 1. Hard – Red/Blue
Route 2. Hard/Middle 50/50
Route 3. Middle – Yellow flags
Route 4. Middle/Novice 50/50
Route 5. Novice – White flags
A ‘50/50 Ride Hard’ or ‘50/50 Ride Easy’ sign at the start of the section is for those on the 50/50 routes. So a Ride Hard sign for those on route 2 would mean they ride route 1. For those on route 4, you would ride route 3.
If it says ‘50/50 Ride Easy’, then those on route 2 will ride route 3, and those on route 4 will ride route 5.
Youth only rounds with have 8 sections with 4 laps.
Open rounds will have 10 sections with 4 laps.

Riding gear

All adults must wear as a minimum helmet & ‘knee length’ boots. Children in addition must also wear gloves, long sleeves & covered legs. Body armour is encouraged, but not compulsory.
Observers

We ask/plead for your help with observing.
We ask that all riders who ride with us provide an observer at least once through the year.
We are not going to force people into this, but ask for your cooperation with it. We had some incidents last year of people either cheating by changing scores, people moving flags or just people not quite knowing how observing works, and writing things like 4’s.
Scoring

STOP PERMITTED
0 Clean
1 Footing once
2 Footing twice
3 Footing more than twice
5 Failure When requested by a rider rather than attempt the section

5 Not attempting a section when called upon to do so by an official
10 For missing a section or failing to have punch card 10 marked
10 For abuse of a club official or observer
We are using the ACU system for entering & leaving a section of front wheel spindle passing the start/finish.
Baulk

A baulk is deemed to occur when a rider is prevented from making an attempt to ride a section due to outside obstruction. (rider/observer accidentally stepping in the way) Should a rider claim a baulk, the observer may, at their discretion, allow a re-run of the section.
Entries
We ask for a £5 non refundable deposit to secure a place. We will limit entries to some venues depending on the space available.
If the event is cancelled for any reason, the deposit is refundable/transferable.

£20 Adult AMCA License Holder

Riders Meeting

A meeting will only be called if deemed absolutely necessary. Riders will be spoken to at signing on and all instructions will be given out before the event via facebook. When the trial is ready to start, a horn will be sounded and repeated several times.
Practicing

Absolutely no riding in the parking area whatsoever. Bikes are to be pushed.
A designated warm up area will be marked off where possible. Please feel free to ride here before the trial starts. Please ride sensibly and be aware of other riders.
When there is not a designated warm up area, please do not practice in or through the sections.
Please ride the sections in the order they were set out.
The sections will be left out after the trial. Please feel free to practice only when everyone has finished.
Jetwashing

Jetwashing is not permitted at the venues we are using.
Results & Awards

Results will be posted on the afternoon/evening of the trial.
The final Youth Round at Seymours Arena will have an awards presentation like we did in 2024.
We are hoping to secure sponsorship for prizes for top 3 Open Championship Riders.
Camping

Where possible, camping will be permitted. However this will need to be cleared with the landowners/clubs beforehand. Please ask before arriving to camp, but we really encourage camping at events!
Youth – Adult Riders

Youth are our priority. We ask that those adults attending to be mindful of the kids. I envisage an environment where the kids are helped and encouraged by the older riders.
If you can, point a line out to them, give them a clap. Say well done in a queue. It can mean more than you realise.
Also, easily done as I’ve done it! Try not to clear your bike out without checking behind you in a queue first. You could be filling a kids face full of smoke.

Behaviour

We want an welcoming environment for all. Our trials have always been relatively trouble free, happy relaxed environments.
Last year we had some issues with people moving flags. To make it clear, only an Observer, Andy, Caz, and Kayleigh or Jack (who may have been asked by us) are allowed to move flags.
Obviously if you are replacing one that’s fell out, this is fine and appreciated.
Anyone caught moving flags to physically alter a section, I’m sorry if were friends but you will be asked to leave and will be disqualified from the event and championship.
Sponsorship

We are so proud to have gained sponsorship in 2025 from the following…
Apico
Belle Trailers
TRS Motorcycles
Woodrobes
MK Off Road

Do you need any parts, oil, tyres?
Maybe a new TRS motorcycle?
Anything from the Apico range?
We supply it all! We can bring anything you need to an event, or post out ASAP.
We would really appreciate any support from our riders.
We will always have a couple of TRS demo bikes at events which will mostly consist of 125 and 250cc RR bikes.
